Shipping Policies
Shipping occurs Monday through Friday only. No shipping occurs on Saturday or Sunday. Orders placed on Saturday and Sunday will be processed on Monday. All orders placed with 3 Day, 2 Day or Next day air shipping on Saturday and Sunday or by 11:00 AM EST on Monday ship on Monday. Orders placed with 3 Day, 2 Day or Next day air shipping Monday through Friday prior to 11 AM EST ship the same day. Air orders placed after 11:00 AM EST ship the next business day. Ground orders placed before the 1 PM cut off ship within 1-3 business days and are not guaranteed to ship that same day. When a Ground order is placed after the 1 PM cut off the first processing day becomes the next business day. Ground orders placed after the 1 PM cut off will ship within the next three business days. As an example, a ground order placed at 7:20 PM on Tuesday night will ship on Thursday or Thursday. Ground orders placed Saturday and Sunday will ship by Wednesday.
Holiday Shipping (December 1, 2022 through January 4th, 2023) Ground orders placed before the 1 PM EST cut off Monday through Friday typically ship within 2-4 business days. As an example, an order placed over the weekend or Monday prior to 1 pm should ship by Thursday.
Holiday Ground Deadline Ground orders placed before 1 PM EST on 12/15/2022 will ship prior to Christmas. (Please take into consideration the 2-4-day lead time on ground orders during the month of December. Ground orders placed after 1 PM EST on 12/15/2022 may not ship prior to the holiday closing.
We will continue to ship any and all orders we possibly can up through Wednesday 12/21/2022. However, we cannot guarantee an order will ship prior to Christmas when it is placed after the above deadlines.
Holiday Air Shipping Deadline The deadline for guaranteed shipping of an air order prior to Christmas is 12/16/2022 at 11 AM EST. All air orders placed after 11 AM EST on 12/16/2022 may not ship until after Christmas.
Saturday Delivery Saturday delivery is available only by shipping Next Day Air on Friday and requesting Saturday delivery in the shipping comments. Standard Air options deliver Monday thru Friday only. Saturday delivery is the cost of Next Day air service plus an additional $24.50 and again is by special request only. We do not offer 2nd day air Saturday delivery service except under special promotions and offers. Transit times do not include the day a gift ships, Holidays, Saturday or Sunday. No shipping occurs on Saturday or Sunday and all orders placed on Saturday or Sunday will be processed and or shipped the next business day
Chocolate Gifts
Chocolate and perishable gifts need to ship via Next Day air May 1st through Mid-Mid November. All chocolate gifts are shipped at your own risk. We do not pay claims of any kind on melted chocolate. Where UPS stores and leaves a package is not within our control and they do not pay claims on melted items. As a reminder, we do not offer refunds or discounts of any kind for melted or damaged chocolates even when they are shipped via air.
Card Enclosures
Your card enclosures are printed in a packing slip form on a standard 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper. One half of the sheet is the actual UPS label and the other half is your ship to information and card enclosure. This paper goes into a clear packing sleeve and the sleeve is attached to the top of the box.
PO Box Destinations
We do offer shipping ship to all US PO box destinations. All USPS shipments do take 1-2 extra days to ship out and do not fall under our standard shipping guidelines. US mail delivery offers limited tracking information and is not as reliable as UPS and or Federal Express. Tracking information may or may not include various scans as the item is in-route to the destination. Not all postal shipments will be trackable prior to delivery. We will not be responsible for non-trackable packages. You ship these items at your own risk and replacement items will not be shipped when an item is not trackable. Once an item is delivered it will offer proof of delivery. Standard ground service is the only option on all postal shipments. We do not offer express service of any kind on USPS shipments.
